Global Interaction Aims at Establishing a Cooperation Platform for Sino-German Business

Recently, TÜV SÜD Greater China Group participated in the Peak Forum “HK-Zhongshan: Your Partner for Success in China” in Dusseldorf and Munich, Germany. Mr. Frederic Maury, Managing Director of TÜV SÜD South China, gave a speech on the topic of “Ensuring Product Safety through a HK-P.R.D.-Germany Tripartite Business Model” with the aim of providing updates on latest developments and business environment of Hong Kong and Zhongshan and further, promoting the interaction and cooperation between Chinese and German business enterprises.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government, the peak forums were separately held in Munich and Dusseldorf. The forums attracted around 300 German enterprise representatives who participated with the interest of expanding their business in Asia and China and therefore focused on enhancing production and R&D capabilities, strengthening supply chain management and lowering production costs.

Mr. Frederic Maury, on behalf of TÜV SÜD Greater China, was invited as a VIP speaker to give a speech, introducing a new business cooperation model for German operation in China. “In South China, German companies can make good use of Hong Kong as a strategic business platform for their Asian and Chinese business, with access to comprehensive quality business support services. At the same time they can set up a production base in the Pearl River Delta region in order to fully exert their manufacturing capabilities. This is what we call the ‘HK-P.R.D.-Germany Tripartite Business Model’.” stated by Mr. Maury.
