Fujian Special Equipment Inspection Institute and TÜV SÜD have successfully held a seminar on certification and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel equipment export

On 4th May, 2010,  Fujian Special Equipment Inspection Institute and the Jiangsu TÜV Product Service Ltd. Guangzhou branch successfully held a seminar on certification and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel equipment and production material to stimulate Fujian’s boiler and pressure vessel equipment production and trade enterprises to expand  their exports, exploit foreign markets and enhance competiveness.

More than 20 related companies and many  well-known media in Fujian participated in this event.

On the seminar, Mr. Fred Maury, the Managing Director of TÜV SÜD South China made a speech, hoping that this seminar will be an opportunity for cooperation, triggering  detailed andfurther follow-up actions and for contributing  to Fujian’s boiler and pressure vessel equipment exports.
 
Afterwards Mr. Yao Qin, the vice president of Fujian Special Equipment Inspection Institute made a speech, saying that he looks forward to a deeper cooperation as well and that he is extremely convinced the cooperation with TÜV SÜD will begin with this event addressing a higher level.

Then John Liu  (business development manager and inspector, TÜV SÜD) and Tony Tong (senior inspector in Industry Service, TÜV SÜD)  explained the ASME standards and the procedures of how to obtain the ASME certifications and the embossed seal for the steal plate, the steel tube and smelt forging and so on. Lastly the TÜV SÜD specialists answered some questions regarding to export products.
