TÜV SÜD America has been granted accreditation to provide Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification services

15.03.2010

TÜV SÜD America has been granted accreditation to provide Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification services under ISO 14065:2007 by ANSI.

Published on April 15, 2007, the standard specifies the principals and the requirements for greenhouse gas (GHG) validation and verification bodies for use in accreditation and other forms of recognition. ISO 14065:2007 complements the greenhouse gas accounting and verification standard ISO 14064:2006 which was launched in March, 2006.

TÜV SÜD America's validation and verification services, through the application of these standards, lend credibility and assurance to GHG emissions reports and claims made regarding greenhouse gas emission reductions or removals. Since the standards are not aligned with any particular scheme, and are considered independent and GHG-program neutral, they may be used by organizations participating in a number of trading, project, or voluntary emissions reduction programs.
