TÜV SÜD China introduces TÜV Standby Mark and provides special offers

15.06.2011

Standby functionalities of electrical and electronic products draw more and more energy each year. The annual electricity consumption related to standby functionalities and off-mode energy losses only for the EU alone have been estimated to have reached 47 TWh just for the year 2005. Currently, national or regional administrations all over the world, such as EU Member States, U.S.A, Canada, Korea, are taking strict measures to reduce the standby power consumption of the electrical and electronic products. Buyers and consumers have also started to pay more attention to this issue. How to prove your products have low standby power consumption? How to make your products stand out from the crowd of so many devices and to be preferred by both buyers and consumers? As one of the world's leading technical services providers, TÜV SÜD introduces TÜV Standby Mark.
