TÜV SÜD now also represented in Berlin through partner organization

Berlin. TÜV SÜD Auto Partner now offers the full range of TÜV SÜD's mobility-related services in Berlin. By providing services via the offices of its partner organization, service provider TÜV SÜD is continuing to expand its operations in Germany. Thomas Gensicke, Member of the Management Board at TÜV SÜD Auto Partner, says, "The first partner office in Berlin is a major step forward for us. We plan to open further offices in Berlin in the coming months."

Service centre in Hönower Weg, Hoppegarten

Appraisals, services for car dealerships and repair shops – in addition to the core business areas of roadworthiness and exhaust testing, the testing engineers at the TÜV SÜD partner office in Berlin Biesdorf offer a broad range of vehicle services at their service centre in Hönower Weg, Hoppegarten. The team led by Managing Director Nadja Spoida focuses on customer satisfaction. "Our customers' main priorities are short waiting times, rapid processing and, above all, transparency in fault assessment. If someone wants to look over our shoulders in the inspection pit, that's no problem", assures Spoida. Four testing engineers are responsible for roadworthiness testing in the modern test lane and also serve as a mobile team, travelling to the repair shops throughout Berlin and Brandenburg. Since operations were launched at the start of March the number of customers has grown steadily, and with them the number of vehicle inspections performed by the new TÜV SÜD partner. A special feature offered by TÜV SÜD Auto Partner's new service centre is used car appraisals for car dealerships in the neighbourhood. "Our service centre is located in "Carena" vehicle park, together with numerous car dealerships – a highly advantageous location for establishing partnerships in vehicle appraisals and damage assessments", explains Spoida.

The new partner office in Hoppegarten is the launch pad for TÜV SÜD Auto Partner's operations in Germany's capital city.

"At present we are in negotiations with further selected partners, and we are confident that we will be able to open additional offices in Berlin in the near future", confirms Gensicke. The partner office in Hoppegarten is the 20th branch opened by of TÜV SÜD Auto Partner, representing a further stepping stone in the expansion of a powerful company with nationally oriented vehicle inspection operations. The company is currently searching for engineering offices outside its core areas to serve as partners, with a view to concluding agreements with around 100 partners over the medium term.
