Drop test and vibration test of LCD TV under IEC/EN 60065 (OSM decision: 11/6)

For small screen, mains operated LCD TVs have a weight of less than 7 kg, the tests of 12.1.2 (vibration) and 12.1.4 (drop) is not applied when there is no means provided for carrying around, or it is not intended for carrying around.

However when it has a metal enclosure then the test 12.1.2 (vibration) remains applicable.
